Q. What's included in my registration?
Your registration includes three-days of in-person programming and a social event on the first evening. Catered meals are provided and dietary requirements will be accommodated.

Q. What is the registration fee?
October 30 – November 30, 2024: Early Bird Rate $550 CAD
December 1, 2024 – February 11, 2025: $750 CAD
Student Rate: $250 CAD*
Registration closes on February 11, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
*There are two student registrations available. Once those spots are full, student registrants will be waitlisted.
For those travelling to attend the DPL, the BCcampus Travel Grant supports access to professional learning events for B.C. post-secondary educators and instructional support staff who do not have sufficient funds for travel and professional development. Learn more and apply by submitting the online grant application form by January 12, 2025 at 11:45 p.m.

Registration closes on February 11, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

Q. What if I need to cancel my registration?
A fee of $25 CAD plus 5% GST will apply to all cancellations. Cancellation requests for in-person registrants must be received before 11:55 p.m. PT on February 8, 2025 to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued after this date. There is no fee to transfer your registration to another person. To make changes to your registration, or to request a receipt, please contact eventreg@bccampus.ca.

Q. What if the event is cancelled?
BCcampus reserves the right to change or cancel an event at any time. When it is necessary to cancel or postpone an event, BCcampus will notify all participants by email.
If the event is cancelled, your registration fee will be refunded. BCcampus will not be responsible for travel or other related expenses incurred by the registrant. -

The Digital Pedagogy Lab

Q. Where is the Digital Pedagogy Lab being held?
The Digital Pedagogy Lab will take place in-person at The Wilson of School of Design building, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Richmond Campus, 8771 Lansdowne Road, Richmond, B.C.

Q. How long is the event?
The event is two and a half days long. The first day, February 18, begins at 12:00 p.m. and will finish after the social event at approximately 7:00 p.m. The following days, February 19-20 run from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Q. Do you have a health plan?
We acknowledge and respect that everyone has their own comfort levels regarding their health and infectious diseases, like COVID-19. Although province-wide event restrictions have been lifted, we encourage everyone to do what feels right for them, including wearing masks or physical distancing if desired. Please be mindful that your fellow guests may not want hugs or handshakes and always ask first. Hand sanitizer will be strategically placed throughout the venue and we will have a supply of masks at the registration desk. Please read our Health Plan for more information.

Q. Will you be streaming the event?
No – the Digital Pedagogy Lab will be in-person only.

There will not be a recording of the event.

The Digital Pedagogy Lab is for educators, students, instructional designers, learning experience designers, and technologists – join us for a transformative environment, fostering meaningful interactions and supportive exchanges!

Q. What do I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Q. What do I need to bring?
Please bring any supplies you need to participate in the conference, including notebooks, pens, or laptops.

Q. What if I don't want my picture taken?
We will identify you by your name tags with either a red lanyard or red dot. In the event our photographer catches you in a background photo, this will help us identify you and make sure we do not publish the photo post-production.
